Itinerary
Day 1: 21 Oct
Delhi
Depart Australia on Singapore Airlines to Delhi. Overnight at Le Meridien.
Days 2-4: 22-24 Oct
Ranthambore
Journey by air-conditioned train to Sawai Madhopur, the gateway to Ranthambore, India’s most famous tiger reserve. Accommodation at Dev Vilas. BLD
Days 5/6: 25/26 Oct
Jaipur
Following a final morning safari, travel by road to Jaipur with a packed lunch. Check into your hotel, the fabulous Trident Jaipur, for overnight. Next morning, tour Amber Fort and India’s “Pink City” with lunch at a local restaurant. BLD
Days 7/8: 27/28 Oct
Mysore
Early flight to Bangalore. Lunch at the impressive Taj Bangalore and transfer to your Mysore hotel. Conclude the day with an evening visit to the magnificently illuminated Mysore Palace. On Day 8, explore this enchanting city and the ancient ruins at Somnathpur. Overnight Royal Orchid The Metropole. BLD
Days 9/10: 29/30 Oct
Nagarhole National Park
Continue by road through lush rural countryside to The Serai, a beautiful resort in Kabini which will be your base for exploring Nagarhole. This national park is renowned for its density of wildlife including leopard, and boasts over 300 avian species. Safaris are by cantor or boat. BLD
Days 11/12: 30 Oct/01 Nov
Coorg
Morning excursion before departing for Evolve Back Chikkana Halli Estate set amongst a lush 300-acre plantation. Whilst at this tranquil resort, explore the picturesque landscape with a guide and enjoy the property’s great facilities which include a pool and Ayurveda wellness centre. BLD
Days 13/14: 02/03 Nov
Kochi
Transfer to Calicut station for train to Kochi and check in to your hotel, the Taj Malabar, for overnight. Next morning, embark on a heritage walk and in the evening, take in a classical Kathakali dance performance. BLD
Day 15/16: 04/05 Nov
Kumarakom
Navigate the narrow, palm-fringed canals of Alleppey by traditional houseboat with lunch on board. Disembark and transfer to Kumarakom, where the idyllic Coconut Lagoon resort at the edge of Vembanad Lake awaits. The following day is entirely yours to enjoy the history, culture, cuisine and iconic languid canals of Kerala. BLD

Kochi/Inflight to Australia
