Set in a volcanic crater, Pilanesberg famously harbours all of Africa’s “Big 5” plus many, many other animals and some 360 species of bird.
Guests at Bakubung Bush Lodge are accommodated in 100 beautifully appointed rooms with doors leading out onto a balcony or patio offering views of the lodge’s hippo pool or of the park’s picturesque landscape. Expect amenities such as satellite TV and delightfully large walk-in showers at this property, along with access to a five-star facilities such as a swimming pool, floodlit tennis courts and a day spa. Dining options include a restaurant and bar, with a traditional ‘boma’ for atmospheric bush braais.
