This wonderful cliff-top lodge enjoys breathtaking views of Lake Manyara and the Great Rift Valley floor. The 27 tented guest rooms are simple but very comfortable, containing ensuite bathrooms with hot and cold water as well as romantic hurricane lanterns for lighting. There are also two honeymoon suites and two standalone family cottages for utmost privacy.
Shared amongst all guests are a central dining room with attentive waiter service as well as a bar complete with expansive sun deck offering panoramic views of the lodge’s surrounds. Sip a sundowner drink by the fire bowl or relax on your personal veranda as the sun slips below the horizon.
Kirurumu Manyara Lodge is close to Lake Manyara – famous for flamingo and tree-climbing lions – where you can embark on Maasai guided nature walks, go mountain biking, hiking or even fly camping.

Getting there
Guests can fly into Lake Manyara Airstrip which is 15 minutes from the lodge, or drive from Arusha. The journey by road takes between 2 and 2.5 hours.
