Family-run Tarangire Safari Lodge sits on a natural bluff, which affords it stunning panoramic vistas of the plains and game by the Tarangire River below. Guests have the option of staying in simple but comfortable tented ensuite camps with thatched verandas or in large rustic circular bungalows that offer additional space and privacy.
International cuisine is served in an expansive, open-air dining room, while drinks can be enjoyed by the inviting outdoor swimming pool or in the relaxing bar. In the evening, sundowners and snacks are available on the terrace, which offers sensational views of sunset. There is also a boutique with a variety of handmade arts and crafts for sale.
Other than requisite game drives, night safaris and nature walks through Tarangire National Park, this safari lodge has a wooden pavilion overlooking the reserve, where guests can enjoy relaxing massages, invigorating yoga sessions or private sundowner drinks.

Set just within the national park boundary approximately 10km from the Tarangire’s main gate, Tarangire Safari Lodge is just under 2 hours drive from Arusha or 3.5 hours from Kilimanjaro International Airport.
