Activities include game drives and walks. D

Days 2-4

Days 5/6

Fly to Livingstone. On arrival, transfer to Thorntree River Lodge in Zambia’s lush Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park a few kilometres upstream of the magnificent Victoria Falls. Thorntree offers just 10 contemporary tented rooms, two of which are designed for families of up to four. Shaded by canvas, each guest tent has its own plunge pool, as well as indoor and outdoor bathrooms. On Day 6 enjoy a guided tour of the Zambian side of Victoria Falls. The falls can often be seen for miles away, thanks to its towering columns of spray, caused by over 500 million cubic metres of water thundering into a gorge over 100 metres deep. The majesty of this waterfall inspired its official name, Mosi-oa-Tunya – “The Smoke That Thunders”. Afterwards, you have time to enjoy a range of optional activities including sunset cruises, game drives in the national park and helicopter flightseeing. BLD
