Redoubt Bay Lodge

Redoubt Bay Lodge is teeming with bears and other native Alaskan wildlife

Nestled amongst spectacular scenery at the entrance to Lake Clark National Park, Redoubt Bay Lodge is a fantastically secluded place for bear-viewing and quiet appreciation of unspoilt nature. Set atop a knoll overlooking a glittering necklace of lakes, this rustic, family-run lodge is the only accommodation available within a 171,000 acre wilderness.

The cosy, hand-hewn main lodge is the heart of Redoubt Bay Lodge, where meal preparation and dining take place. Coffee and snacks are available all day, whilst there is also a small gift shop here and reference library with games and stationery so you can write postcards home. The recently added bar and large deck area provide sweeping views of your surroundings – the perfect setting for a glass of wine or two.

The three guest cabins at Redoubt Bay Lodge are entirely different in style and character but all are equally comfortable. Lakeside Cabin has two bedrooms, with a simple private bathroom and woodstove. Close to the main lodge, Trailside Cabin has one bedroom, a bathroom and a small deck. Hillside Cabin is a short, slightly steep stroll away and features one bedroom and one bath as well.
