Specially curated by Steve himself, this spectacular itinerary offers an intimate, unrivalled safari experience. All game viewing activities will be led by expert guides who have undergone some of the most rigorous training on the continent.
Zimbabwe is renowned for game drives, walking and canoeing safaris and Mana Pools National Park offers some of the most exciting wildlife adventures in Africa. Elephant and antelope frequently come to drink at the water’s edge, pods of hippo rule the river, and crocodiles laze on the sandbanks. Beautiful birds like kingfishers, bee eaters, herons and darters perch on the reeds and overhanding branches. Experience this firsthand with Steve, who has been to these areas numerous times.
From Mana Pools we head to Hwange National Park and beautiful Somalisa Camp which is situated deep inside this spectacular wilderness which teems with wildlife. Hwange is the country’s most famous park and home to the world’s largest population of elephant. Other iconic animals we might see, include giraffe, wildebeest, sable antelope, buffalo, hyena, lions, leopard and cheetah.
The safari ends in Victoria Falls on the Zambian side, at tranquil and luxurious Thorntree River Lodge within the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park, just 20 minutes upstream from the famous Falls.
Small and exclusive, this fabulous escorted safari includes expert guiding, games drives, and exciting walking and canoeing safaris away from busy tourist areas, guaranteeing an unrivalled safari experience. Designed on an all-inclusive basis (except in Harare) you can relax, enjoy and make the most of this unique and off-the-beaten-track safari of a lifetime.
