Guests at this idyllic property are accommodated in 30 spacious rustic bungalows crafted from stone, timber and thatch, featuring four-poster beds and furnished, shaded verandas. All units are air-conditioned and equipped with plenty of hot water for relaxing showers at the end of each day.

At the centre of the property next to a swimming pool sits a large restaurant and bar, where the finest, freshest local ingredients are crafted into Malagasy and international dishes. Also found here is a day spa, where massages and other pampering treatments are offered – a real treat after a long day out exploring the coastline or travelling inland along rough, dusty roads!        

 Not-to-be-missed experiences while staying at Hotel Palissandre Cote Ouest include sunset at the Avenue of The Baobabs, a photogenic boulevard lined by over 20 unique upside-down trees and a visit to the Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park which is home to a vast collection of needle-shaped limestone formations. Another highlight is the Tsingy de Bemaraha Strict Nature Reserve next door, which harbours over a dozen species of lemur as well as other amazing endemic fauna. Should you wish to learn more about local culture or history, there are a number of fascinating sites in the vicinity including an ancient necropolis.

Set in a peaceful fishing village known as Nosy Kely, Hotel Palissandre Cote Ouest can be reached by short flight from Antananarivo. The airport at Morondava is approximately 20 minutes by road from the property.
