Leeu Estates, the flagship property of Leeu Collection, is the only hotel in the Cape Winelands to have achieved the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa (TGCSA)’s new 5-Star Premium status, which was introduced in April 2019 to recognise exceptional 5-star properties that have reached the pinnacle of quality where facilities, amenities and service co-exist to reach perfection.
The spacious rooms and suites, which are individually styled and luxuriously appointed, feature bespoke furniture, wool-and-sisal carpets, and textured layers of linen, horsehair, leather, wood and stone in a calm colour palette. The rooms all have underfloor heating. The generous marble-clad en-suite bathrooms have rain showers and heated towel rails as standard. Careful attention to detail is prevalent throughout the property.
