Situated in a little-visited, remarkably unspoilt corner of the Serengeti, Namiri Plains is where you’ll find some of East Africa’s best big cat sightings, from lion and leopard to cheetah. Accommodation in this secluded camp comprises of just 8 elegant tented suites, with hot running water showers including outdoor ones with outstanding views.

The comfortably furnished mess tent is an ideal place to watch wildlife roaming the surrounding plains, while the shady outdoor seating area contains a campfire where guests can swap safari experiences before enjoying dinner in the canvas-covered dining room or beneath a canopy of stars.

Embark on twice daily game drives from Namiri Plains accompanied by knowledgeable guides in open or closed vehicles. You can also explore the environment on foot, participate in cheetah reserve and take a hot air balloon over the teeming landscape below you. If you wish to be out each day looking for wildlife, the camp offers the convenience of packed breakfasts or lunches.
