The main lodge is a short stroll from guest accommodations, where you’ll be able to get a hearty bite to eat or mingle with other Southern Lakes Resort guests. Panoramic windows provide sweeping views of the placid lake, as you enjoy the chef’s latest creations or a signature cocktail.

At night, put your feet up and enjoy nature’s most impressive light show through your cosy cabin’s large, panoramic windows. Alternatively, you might wish to watch from the lodge’s prime viewing site, where you can pick up useful photography tips from your knowledgeable guide and enjoy a piping hot drink. By day, choose from a range of exciting outdoor activities, including snowshoeing, snowmobile excursions and dogsledding.

How to get to Southern Lakes Resort

Private chartered floatplane transfers are the best way to reach Southern Lakes Resort, with the journey taking just 20 minutes from Whitehorse. Road transfers (approx. 90 minutes) are also available from the airport or downtown.
