Day 1

Amman

Arrive Amman airport. Transfer to your city hotel.

Day 2

Amman

Tour the Roman Theatre, Nymphaeum and Citadel. Transfer to the ancient Greco-Roman city of Jerash and walk its colonnaded streets and plazas, discover its temples, theatres, baths and the Arch of Hadrian. B

Days 3/4

Petra

Travel the King’s Highway to Petra, stopping to see a 6th century mosaic map of Palestine. Visit Mt Nebo, said to be the last resting place of Moses, and impressive Kerak Castle. On Day 4, be guided along the narrow Siq to the lost city of Petra, with its exquisite Treasury and tombs. B

Day 5

Wadi Rum

Drive to the breathtaking desert landscapes of Wadi Rum. Home to Bedouin tribes, it was made famous by British officer and writer T.E. Lawrence (of Arabia). Take a 4WD desert safari beneath towering sandstone mountains and sculptural rock formations. BD

Day 6

Dead Sea

Drive to your hotel in the Dead Sea. Afternoon is at leisure to indulge in one of the many spa treatments or just explore this unique salt lake 427m below sea level. B

Tour ends

Return to Amman. Tour ends. B
