Morning flight to Khasab where you will be met and transferred to Atana Khasab Hotel. In the afternoon enjoy a 4WD mountain safari, visiting a local village and the Birkhat Khalidiya Park, filled with green acacia trees year round. On day 2 take a full-day dhow cruise around the fjords of the peninsula. B

Getting there: With major Middle-eastern carriers Emirates and Etihad Airways flying directly from many Australian cities, it’s almost a direct flight to Oman, particularly if driving on to visit the Musandam Peninsula.
