Days 1-3

Makgadikgadi Salt Pans

Fly by light aircraft to sophisticated San Camp, comprised of 6 opulent tented suites at the edge of the blinding white salt pan – remnants of a giant lake which dried up thousands of years ago. Sightings of rare brown hyena and encounters with comical semi-habituated meerkats are almost guaranteed in this unique desert environment. Guests also have a chance to walk with Bushmen and go quad biking.

Days 4/5

Linyanti

Your next destination is sublime Zarafa Camp, a haven of extravagant luxury in the remote Linyanti wilderness, where superb gameviewing opportunities abound. Your surroundings are completely pristine, yet there’s no compromising on comfort – your suite has its own pool and fireplace.

Days 6-8

Moremi Game Reserve

Wing your way over to Chief’s Island in the fabulous Moremi Game Reserve – your home for the next 3 nights is world-renowned Mombo Camp, set in the heart of big cat country. Go on exciting game drives during the day, then relax in the comfort of your enormous suite with a massage.

Days 9-11

Okavango Delta

Your last stop is the secluded Jao Camp which sits where forest meets floodplain. The diverse surroundings of this intimate 9-tent property allow guests to enjoy a variety of activities from mokoro (dugout canoe) trips to boat and 4X4 excursions. At night, a ‘Star Bed’ allows for sleepouts under endless night skies.

Day 12

Tour Ends Maun

Light aircraft transfer back to Maun where your safari of a lifetime concludes.

Abundant wildlife including big cats, small, ultra-luxurious lodges and diverse landscapes make Botswana one of Africa’s premier safari destinations. During the winter months of May-August days are dry and sunny with average temperatures of 25°C. Mornings and evenings can be very cold. Daily averages begin to rise in September and October towards 33-35°C. Temperatures from November-April can be very hot, reaching above 38°C.
