One of our favourite resorts, the handsome Maritim Resort & Spa sits on a 62-acre private estate at the edge of sparkling Turtle Bay on Mauritius’ sheltered northwest coast. Guests are accommodated at this luxurious property in 212 indulgent room and suites nestled amid award-winning gardens, all featuring views of the spectacular coastline.

Dining options at the Maritim Resort & Spa are plentiful; choose from five exquisite restaurants and two bars, each with its own distinct culinary style and atmosphere. The day spa is a treat for travellers seeking relaxation whilst the active will delight in the wonderful array of land and watersports available onsite, ranging from scuba diving and snorkelling to archery and golf.

For families with children, the Maritim Resort & Spa has the Turtle Kids Club, in a building set amid a playground where qualified professionals can keep an eye on little ones aged between 3 and 11 so parents can enjoy some quality time alone. Also on the estate is a petting zoo with farm animals as well as a giant tortoise sanctuary – both popular with visitors young and old.
