Shamwari Game Reserve

Bayethe Tented Lodge provides upscale accommodation in 12 tented suites complete with personal plunge pools. 9-room Riverdene Lodge and 5-room Sarili Lodge are great options for families, being the most relaxed in atmosphere, whilst Long Lee Manor sleeps up to 30 in 15 double room ensuring a convivial stay. For the ultimate in privacy, choose 6-suite Lobengula which can be booked for the exclusive use of a group, with ample space for individual travellers to mingle or spend time alone.    

Things to do on the Shamwari Game Reserve include game drives twice daily to coincide with periods when animals are most active as well as thrilling walking safaris with the opportunity for exceptional bird-watching especially around lakes and dams. There are a number of conservation and rehabilitation programs on the premises where guests can learn about endangered, injured or orphaned species such as lion and cheetah as well as the measures in place to protect particular species or to facilitate the release of individuals back into the wild.
