This lovely seasonal mobile camp is situated in the northern Serengeti close to where herds of wildebeest cross the croc-filled Mara River between June and October.
Yet its discreet nature ensures that its presence does not interfere with wildlife as they follow ancient well-trodden paths to the north into Kenya’s Masai Mara.
The 12 tented guest suites of Lemala Mara are set beneath large shade trees containing hot bucket showers and attendants who will ensure your needs are met during your stay. Meals are served in a central mess tent, which adjoins a lounge with a bar and charging facilities for electronic equipment such as cameras.
Lemala Mara welcomes children, with a number of age-appropriate activities available to keep young ones entertained including bird and animal identification lessons, wildlife tracking activities and even the chance to help the kitchen team prepare meals.

The nearest airstrip to Lemala Mara is Kogatende, 25 minutes by road from the campsite. Alternatively, guests can be transferred from Arusha or the Ngorongoro Crater area.
