Darwin is serviced by many domestic and regional airlines, with direct flights from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Cairns. Charter flights depart from the airport’s general aviation area to various lodges in the Mary River wetlands, to Katherine as well as to Davidson’s Arnhem Land Safaris Eco Lodge in Mt Borradaile.

Days 1-3
Davidson’s Arnhemland Safari Lodge
From Darwin you will be transferred by light aircraft to Davidson’s Arnhemland Safari Lodge, a unique eco-lodge located in the remote, exclusively leased concession at Mt Borradaile in Arnhem Land. In this vast, unspoilt region, the traditional owners – the Yolngu people – still retain a strong spiritual connection to the land. Accommodation at Davidson’s is in elevated, free-standing ensuite cabins scattered beneath the trees, each with their own small private furnished patio from where you can enjoy the sights and sounds of the bush.
Each day enjoy guided activities such as bird watching, sunset billabong cruises, freshwater fishing charters, guided rock art gallery excursions, 4WD adventures and nature walks. When you aren’t out and about, the lodge has a lounge, bar, library, outdoor pool and spacious sun deck where you can meet other guests and swap stories of your adventures. The dining room might be many miles from civilisation but the meals you savour here will be something to write home about. BLD
Days 4-6
Bamurru Plains
Today transfer to Bamurru Plains by light aircraft. The lodge is situated on the edge of Kakadu National Park amid coastal floodplains on the Mary River. A member of Luxury Lodges of Australia, Bamurru Plains has just 10 safari-style bungalows, built on stilts overlooking the floodplains. Over the next three nights explore this famous region home to a profusion of bird and wildlife. Expert guides lead you on a fantastic variety of daily activities, including river cruises, guided walks, birding and open-top game drives through the exclusive 300 square kilometre area. Guests can also experience the 6-metre high hide overlooking the Mary River floodplain or criss-cross the terrain on a quad bike adventure. A highlight of any stay at Bamurru Plains is the signature experience, an exhilarating ride across the floodplains by airboat. BLD
Day 7
Darwin
This morning you will be transferred by light aircraft back to Darwin. On arrival in Darwin make your own way to the Hilton Darwin for overnight.
This 5 star hotel is conveniently located in downtown Darwin and close to many amenities and attractions.
The hotel overlooks Darwin Harbour whilst tranquil Bicentennial Park and the scenic Darwin Waterfront with its swimming lagoons and waterside restaurants are just 3 kms away.
The Hilton Darwin offers a range of facilities including a lovely outdoor pool on an upper floor, concierge and 24-hour room service, a fitness centre, and a business centre. Guests can relax in the popular Palm Court Bar & Lounge, and enjoy sophisticated Australian contemporary cuisine in the newly-refurbished PepperBerry Restaurant.

Berkeley River lodge
Today you will make your own way to Darwin airport for a commercial flight to Kununurra (Airfare NOT included). In Kununurra board your light aircraft floatplane to Berkeley River Lodge. Nestled in one of the most remote and breathtaking corners of Australia, Berkeley River Lodge is surrounded by untouched wilderness as far as the eye can see where the Berkeley River meets the Timor Sea, the lodge is perfectly placed for exploring the breathtaking Kimberley landscapes.
Each private villas is positioned to capture panoramic views of the winding Berkeley River or the dramatic Kimberley coastline.
