World-class museums, sporting arenas, lively markets and shopping strips makes Melbourne a year-round destination and has previously been awarded the world’s most liveable city multiple years running. Within an hours drive of the city are two of Australia’s best wine regions, the verdant Yarra Valley and the rolling landscapes of the Mornington Peninsula.
Three hours west of Melbourne, the Grampians National Park is one of Victoria’s best wilderness areas. The rugged mountain range is dotted with beautiful walking trails that lead to pretty waterfalls, rock pools and canyons.
