Olakira Camp moves twice a year following the wildebeest herds from north to south
This outstanding mobile tented camp follows the wildebeest herds from north to south, to provide the best opportunities for migration viewing. There are just 9 traditional safari tents at Olakira Camp, with en-suite bathrooms and comfortably furnished covered verandas. Each have a unique mesh enclosed tent design for stargazing.
The dining tents are attractive and equally well set up for relaxing with plenty of comfortable armchairs to sit back and appreciate the Serengeti’s stunning plains. Food here is wholesome, featuring organic local produce where possible, while dinner is a full three course meal served on fine linen.
Activities at Olakira Camp include game drives led by expert guides through the finest wildlife areas of the Serengeti, cultural interaction with local people through school, market or village visits and hot air balloon safaris.
