Situated on the quieter western side of Chobe National Park, lofty Muchenje Safari Lodge offers captivating views of the Chobe River, Caprivi Strip and surrounding floodplains. There are 11 thatched guest cottages in total at this peaceful owner-run property, one which is specially designed to accommodate a family or small group of friends. All are tastefully decorated and feature private decks from which to enjoy the scenery.
Spend your time at Muchenje Safari Lodge exploring Chobe National Park on game drives in open vehicles accompanied by friendly, professional guides. You can also take exciting walks and night drives in the Chobe Forest Reserve. Of course, boat trips are de rigueur in this region to see the many birds and animals – especially elephants – at waters edge.
