Little DumaTau enjoys all the same luxuries and sophistication as its big sister DumaTau
This smaller, more intimate camp is positioned in the same spot as sister camp Duma Tau in Botswana’s far north, giving guests exclusive access to two elephant corridors in the Linyanti Wildlife Reserve. One of Botswana’s wildlife-rich pockets, explore the Beautiful Linyanti River floodplain and the renowned Savuti Chanel.
The camp overlooks Osprey Lagoon and has been constructed in similar style as well, but only boasts 4 spacious suites. Each suite features its own lounge as well as elegant ensuite bathrooms with indoor and outdoor showers. The suites also have a splendid private plunge pool with views out over the lagoon. Guests can also make use of the wellness centre and gym during the day when not out exploring, that are shared with the larger Duma Tau Camp.
The main camp itself houses a glorious lounge and bar area, as well as a superb outdoor deck and fire-pit overlooking the lagoon. Indoor and outdoor dining is available in both a private and group setting. Little Duma Tau is the perfect choice for either couples after a bit more privacy, or small groups who wish to book out the camp for exclusive use.
What activities can I do at Little Duma Tau?
There is no shortage of activities on offer at Little Duma Tau, with day and night game drives providing the cornerstone experience. Leopard, wild dog and lion are all seen in the area while huge numbers of elephant and buffalo are attracted to the region. Guided walks are also possible as are boating and barging excursions when water levels permit. Helicopter trips are also available (extra cost) for travellers who wish to see the wilderness from a different viewpoint. When not out exploring, both massage and spa treatments are a popular choice at Osprey Retreat Spa. (extra cost).
