Ongava Lodge

Luxurious, family-friendly Ongava Lodge

Situated on one of Namibia’s largest and most important private game reserves, Ongava Lodge offers boundless opportunities to encounter the country’s incredible wildlife. Lion, elephant, giraffe, endemic black-faced impala and handsome gemsbok are all found in abundance on the exclusive Ongava Game Reserve, which guests may discover on foot, from photographic hides, by vehicle or even whilst relaxing by the pool or on your private veranda. Game drives of course, can also be arranged inside Etosha, Namibia’s finest national park, which shares a boundary with Ongava.

Accommodation is offered at Ongava Lodge in 14 thatched chalets, including one family unit that can sleep up to four. Exteriors are deliberately rustic, so each unit blends into its natural surroundings, whilst inside, you’ll find modern luxuries including air-conditioning, overhead fans as well as both indoor and outdoor showers.

The main lodge contains a large dining area, generous lounge and a bar, where guests can enjoy a cold drink whilst observing wildlife at a floodlit waterhole. There is also a small curio shop and swimming pool in this area.
