This safari explores three of Zimbabwe’s greatest highlights: expansive Hwange National Park – famous for its huge elephant herds, breathtaking Mana Pools National Park and unforgettable Victoria Falls. Enjoy game drives, as well as opportunities to explore by canoe and on foot.
This is not a group tour but a recommended sample itinerary. We can easily extend or shorten the itinerary to include more or fewer nights in an area, and can mix and match the accommodation to suit.

Days 1-3
Hwange National Park
Take a light aircraft flight from Victoria Falls to Little Makalolo Camp in Hwange National Park for 3 nights. This exclusive eco-camp features just 6 comfortable tents, and is surrounded by a range of habitats making it one of the reserve’s best gameviewing areas. Zimbabwe’s largest national park, Hwange supports 105 species of mammal and over 400 bird species. During your stay, you can participate in morning and afternoon game activities and bush walks. Days 4-6
Mana Pools National Park
Fly by light aircraft to your next destination, Mana Pools National Park. Transfer by road to Ruckomechi Camp which offers 10 ensuite tented rooms with superb views overlooking the Zambezi River. Mana Pools sits on the Lower Zambezi ringed by the dramatic Zambezi Escarpment. This stunning part of the world is famous for its seasonal pools, islands, majestic forests and woodlands. The ecosystem harbours exceptional birdlife and abundant wildlife. Large herbivores that can be easily seen here include elephant, buffalo, hippo and eland, while predators include lion, leopard and African wild dog. Enjoy game drives, walking safaris and canoeing. Days 7/8
Victoria Falls
Fly by light aircraft to the magnificent World Heritage Site of Victoria Falls. You are accommodated at Victoria Falls Hotel, Zimbabwe’s oldest and finest luxury hotel. The hotel features 161 air-conditioned rooms and suites, three restaurants, a bar, library, reading room and 24-hour room service. On Day 8 take a half day tour of the falls followed by a sunset cruise along the Zambezi River on the Ra-Ikane riverboat. B

Tour ends Victoria Falls
Today, you will be transferred by road or air to Victoria Falls airport where the tour ends. B
