Dinaka is home to species including the black-maned Kalahari lion and brown Hyena.

Occupying an exclusive piece of land hugging the northern edge of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve, Dinaka, meaning ‘horns’, consists of a variety of unique habitats. This landscape is home to species including the black-maned Kalahari Lion, oryx, springbok and brown hyena.

The camp boasts seven spacious raised ensuite safari tents overlooking a waterhole with indoor and outdoor showers. There is also a two-bedroom tent specifically designed to accommodate families. Connected by wooden walkways the camp is wheelchair friendly. The camp also features a beautiful dining and lounge area, swimming pool and sleep out deck, where guests may have the opportunity to sleep under the magical African night sky.

Activities focus on exploring the unique landscape and wildlife by 4WD, with a maximum of four guests per vehicle. Walking safaris and night game drives are also available offering a chance to see rare animals including bat eared fox, porcupine and honey badger.

How to get to Dinaka

Light aircraft transfers to Dinaka can be arranged from Maun or selected camps in the Delta.
