Nestled in a grove of ancient hardwoods on the banks of the Sand River, Singita Ebony Lodge combines the luxury of a bush lodge with the simplicity of a tented camp.
Nestled in a grove of ancient hardwoods on the banks of the Sand River, Singita Ebony Lodge is the group’s first property. Combining the luxury of a bush lodge with the simplicity of a tented camp, this contemporary offering comprises of 12 tent-style suites seemingly open to nature, with expansive outdoor pavilions which appear to be suspended from the trees. Four of the tents can accommodate families with children.
The main lodge features a swimming pool, day spa and gym. As with all lodges in Singita’s distinguished portfolio, there is a stylish boutique and gallery, library as well as a well-stocked wine cellar where tastings can be arranged. Guests at Singita Ebony Lodge can also learn to shoot a bow and arrow at the range shared between the properties.
Activities at Singita Ebony Lodge include game drives early in the morning and late in the afternoon, guided walks and mountain biking. Community visits can also be arranged to nearby villages who benefit directly from projects funded by the Singita Community Development Trust.

How to get to Singita Ebony Lodge
Scheduled or private charter flights can be arranged to Singita’s airstrip, located 10 minutes from Singita Ebony Lodge. On arrival, guests are met by staff and transferred to the property by road.
