Idube Game Lodge
Idube is a classic safari lodge that offers all the wildlife found in South Africa’s celebrated Kruger National Park with none of the crowds.
Situated in a premier wildlife conservation area known as the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, this classic South African safari lodge offers all of the animals that can be seen in the Greater Kruger area with none of the crowds. Expect to the find all of the ‘Big 5’ in the wilderness surrounding the property, as well as a huge array of birdlife, plus families of nyala and warthog who have taken up residence on the lawns.
Guests at Idube Game Lodge are accommodated in 10 comfortable air-conditioned chalets set beneath shady trees. Canopied beds and deep baths add a touch of romance, whilst an outside shower offers a unique bathing experience. Each chalet has its own private veranda furnished with comfortable chairs where you can observe Idube’s many four-legged and feathered visitors during their daily visits.
The main lodge is cool and open in design, with a spacious lounge, thatched bar, gym and large swimming pool. Dining takes place on an open-air deck, out in the bush or in a lantern-lit boma. When you aren’t relaxing here or in your room, activities include game drives in open 4X4 vehicles, guided morning bush walks and village tours. Idube also has an underground hide where you can watch wildlife drinking at Shadulu Dam.

Flights can be arranged into Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport from Johannesburg. Idube Game Lodge is around 2 hours by road from the terminal.
