One of the Sabi Sand’s most prestigious properties, andBeyond Kirkman’s Kamp is a tasteful luxury safari lodge with the evocative atmosphere of an authentic 1920s Transvaal homestead. The 6,300 private hectares surrounding the property is renowned for leopards, and guests at the lodge’s 12 beautifully appointed cottages enjoy very intimate and intense gameviewing experiences, with much of the estate’s wild acreage to themselves.
Children are welcome at andBeyond Kirkman’s Kamp, which features a stunning rim-flow pool overlooking a picturesque valley, spacious sitting and dining areas, a tennis court, croquet lawns as well as a comprehensive children’s programme. The open-air ‘boma’ is a wonderful place to enjoy dinner under the African stars, whilst a large veranda provides a place to dine that features fabulous views whilst being sheltered from the elements.
Aside from leopard, some of the many species found in the wilderness surrounding andBeyond Kirkman’s Kamp include spotted hyena, white rhino, warthog, buffalo and hippo. Guests can uncover these animals and many more on twice-daily game drives in open 4WD vehicles or on interpretive bush walks.

How to get to andBeyond Kirkman’s Kamp
It’s possible to self-drive to andBeyond Kirkman’s Kamp from Johannesburg; however, it is far easier to fly into Skukuza Airport, where you are met and transferred on arrival straight to the lodge (around 15 minutes by road).
