The more intimate of Singita’s two lodges in the northern Kruger, Singita Sweni comprises of just 6 suites seemingly suspended amid tree branches. All are connected by wooden walkways, and are designed to invite nature in, with floor-to-ceiling glass walls, expansive decks, outdoor showers and “star beds” for magical sleepouts.
At the main lodge, there is a swimming pool, gym and decadent day spa, as well as a boutique and gallery where you can shop for souvenirs. Meals at Singita Sweni Lodge can be enjoyed in the privacy of your own suite, in an atmospheric ‘boma’ to tribal songs or out in the bush.
Things to do at Singita Sweni Lodge include game drives across Singita’s 33,000 acre private concession, to uncover the many species that live here including rhino, lion, leopard, elephant and hippopotamus. You can also explore the terrain on foot, by mountain bike, or visit local communities nearby. Alternatively, indulge in a rare vintage or two from the lodge’s impeccable wine cellar or learn how to shoot a bow and arrow at the archery range.

How to get to Singita Sweni Lodge
Scheduled or private charter flights can be arranged to Satara Airstrip, located 45 minutes from Singita Sweni Lodge where guests are met by staff and transferred to the property in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle.
