andBeyond Bateleur Camp has a distinctive old-world safari ambience and is situated in a forest at the edge of Kenya’s Masai Mara.
Inspired by safari camps of the colonial era, andBeyond Bateleur Camp has a distinctive old-world ambience with its hardwood floors and tables set with fine china and polished silver. Situated in a forest at the edge of the Masai Mara, the camp accommodates its guests in 18 suites, divided equally across two wings. Suite interiors also recall an earlier era, festooned with rare antiques and generous leather armchairs, with a personal butler at your beck and call.
andBeyond Bateleur Camp’s coveted location in a private concession enables its guests to participate in activities such as bushwalking and night safaris, while on game drives guides are able to take vehicles off-road to get closer to wildlife. Species commonly seen in the area include elephant, buffalo, wildebeest, giraffe, cheetah and crocodile.
In between gameviewing, revive with a swim in the refreshing lap pool or sip port by the fire. Delicious meals are served beneath the stars if the weather allows, while sundowners on the edge of the Rift Valley draw each day to a close.

How to get to andBeyond Bateleur Camp
Take a domestic flight (1 hour) from Nairobi’s Wilson Airport to the Kichwa Tembo private airstrip. You are met and transferred on arrival to andBeyond Bateleur Camp, approximately half an hour away by road.
