Kicheche Bush Camp

A classic tented camp in a private conservancy bordering Kenya’s Masai Mara, Kicheche Bush Camp offers an African safari experience without the crowds.

Spread beneath a thicket of beautiful whistling thorn acacias, seasonal Kicheche Bush Camp is a classic tented camp in the low-density Olare Motorogi Conservancy, which shares a boundary with the world-renowned Masai Mara Game Reserve. With its strict limit on bed numbers, Olare Motorogi offers incomparable gameviewing without the crowds. It is also part of the staging grounds for the annual wildebeest migration.

There are just six spacious guest tents at this unfenced property, with ensuite bathrooms and furnished verandas. Guests enjoy meals within the comfortable shared dining and lounge tent, or al fresco if the weather is favourable. There is also a fire – perfect for nightcaps before bed.

Due to its location upon a private conservancy, Kicheche Bush Camp offers guests the opportunity to participate in walking safaris as well as a chance to spend a night fly camping. There is no fixed daily routine at Kicheche Bush Camp – you decide the duration and frequency of game drives each day with your guide, an especially easy task if you’ve booked exclusive use of the vehicle.
