Mara Bushtops

Mara Bushtops is one of the most exclusive safari camps in Kenya’s Masai Mara, offering great gameviewing and views of the annual wildebeest migration.

One of the Masai Mara’s most exclusive camps, Mara Bushtops occupies a hilltop on a private ranch, less than five kilometres to the famous reserve’s main gate. Each of the 12 spacious tents at this camp are as beautifully appointed as any premium hotel room, yet they blend perfectly into the surrounding wilderness.

At the heart of the camp are the reception, lounge and dining areas, plus a generous sundeck with an infinity pool perfect for warm afternoons. There is also a full-service day spa containing fitness facilities and a Jacuzzi. The restaurant overlooks a natural salt lick – a magnet for resident wildlife, and there is also a fire pit, where sundowners or a glass of wine from the well-stocked cellar can be enjoyed.

When you aren’t out exploring the Masai Mara or the camp’s exclusive conservancy by 4WD, there are plenty of other activity options. A walking safari provides close encounters with smaller creatures while a village visit provides insight into Maasai culture and everyday life. It is also possible to tour a local school or go behind-the-scenes to see how Mara Bushtops runs so efficiently.
