Constructed to blend completely into its natural surroundings, Earth Lodge has been described as the most environmentally sensitive safari lodge in all of Africa. Behind walls of mud, grass, stone and wood are 13 ultra-luxurious guest suites, furnished with private plunge pools, glass-encased bathrooms as well as both indoor and outdoor showers.
In the low-slung main lodge is an outdoor ‘boma’ creatively sculpted out of tree roots, a dining space, library, art gallery, garden and wine cellar containing over 6,000 bottles of rare vintages. There is also an indulgent day spa and a small gym with beautiful views.
Depart every morning and evening from Earth Lodge on game drives across this remote, unspoilt wilderness. You can also explore on foot, guided by an armed, experienced ranger and a Shangaan tracker. The wild concession this lodge occupies is home to all of “Big 5”, a multitude of smaller species plus over 300 species of bird.

Guests can fly into Skukuza Airport, where they are met and transferred by road to Earth Lodge around 45 minutes away.
