The Singular Patagonia
The Singular Patagonia is a stunning hotel nestled in a heritage building on the shores of the Senoret Channel at “The End of the World”.
Set within an early 20th century cold storage warehouse in southern Patagonia, The Singular Patagonia lives perfectly up to its name. Original period features are expertly incorporated into the minimalist modern design of this hotel, which also takes full advantage of its stunning location at “The End of the World” with liberal use of full-length windows.
At The Singular Patagonia, guests are accommodated in 57 ultra-spacious rooms and suites that are deliberately simple in style so as not to detract from the view. A huge pane of glass is all that separates you from the wilderness outside, with the expansive wellness spa featuring the same jaw-dropping aspect and pampering products inspired by fjords, glaciers and native fauna.
Excursions from The Singular Patagonia are graded by difficulty, with options including horseback riding, cycling, kayaking and trekking. Return to The Singular Patagonia’s bar for a menu that is just as comprehensive as the activity list, offering a variety of classic cocktails including Pisco and Calafate sours. Meals at the restaurant fuse French culinary traditions with local customs and ingredients.

Patagonia Overview
Why Patagonia: Located in Argentina and Chile, Patagonia is a natural wonderland of dramatic mountains, giant glaciers, cascading waterfalls, secluded lakes and beech forests. It is also an area rich in wildlife including seals, humpback whales, pumas, condors and guanacos.
When to Go: Summer (Nov – Mar) is the best time to visit Patagonia when the weather is at its mildest and daylight hours are at their longest (18 hours). Bear in mind however, that this is also the windiest and busiest time of year. Winter provides clearer views, stiller conditions and fewer tourists; however temperatures can be extremely cold. Torres del Paine National Park is open all year round.
Combine With: Combine Patagonia with a more in-depth trip through the rest of Chile or Argentina. Alternatively, visit neighbouring Brazil or head further north into Bolivia or Peru.
Getting There: From Santiago, there are short flights to Punta Arenas, Puerto Montt, Balmaceda or Temuco, whilst from Buenos Aires you can fly into El Calafate or Ushuaia in the south or San Carlos de Bariloche in the north.
